We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Manager to become an integral part of our organisation. Reporting directly to the COO, this will be a challenging role, with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy and is an excellent opportunity for the right person to build and develop their career.

The Human Resources role includes recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training, workplace safety, and compliance, assisting in the annual performance and salary review process, implementing HR initiatives, updating, and maintaining firm policies and providing detailed HR reporting when required.

As the HR Manager your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Management of the performance, remuneration and review process with leaders and employees
  • Manage, improve, and support the internal recruitment process
  • Attracting and sourcing candidates through a variety of channels, including searches, LinkedIn, advertising, and referrals.  Responsible for short-lists and communication with candidates
  • Onboarding and Offboarding that includes coordinating all relevant documentation
  • Preparing Letter of Offer, Employment Contract and employment pack’s for new employees
  • Management of activities to continue to drive Employee Engagement & Employee Wellbeing
  • Creating and revising internal job descriptions
  • Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
  • Day to day management of all HR related admin, HR system, WHS and employee queries
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are updated and align to legislative and business requirements
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • HR compliance reporting e.g. WGEA
  • Coaching, advising and mentoring leaders
  • Develop and manage training programs
  • Oversee day-to-day HR Operational activities across the employee life cycle
  • Payroll management

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will be a tertiary qualified individual, with 4+ years HR experience, preferably with a background in the professional service industry. The successful candidate will have superb communication skills, an approachable style, ability to take initiative, have a high attention to detail, and be proactive. Prior experience in a similar role which is hands on, transactional as well as contributing to continuous HR process improvement and staff engagement is essential.
