The NSW Government has announced further details of the fortnightly payment of micro-business and not-for-profit organisations a grant $1,500 per fortnight to help with impacted by the current Greater Sydney COVID-19 restrictions.
What can you get?
Eligible businesses (including non-employing businesses such as non-employing sole traders) and not-for-profit organisations can apply for a fortnightly payment of $1,500 to cover business expenses for the duration of the Greater Sydney lockdown.
Eligible businesses can use this grant to cover business costs incurred from 1 June 2021. These costs may include:
- salaries and wages
- utilities and rent
- financial, legal or other advice
- marketing and communications
- perishable goods
- other business costs
